Refund Policy

Can I return plants?

Plntd's promise

We double-check every plant before sending them out to make sure they are plants we'd proudly display in our homes!

However, if you are unhappy with your order for any reason, you can contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to schedule a return or exchange. Here is how:

For returns:

  1. Email us at hello@plntd.ae, stating:
    1. Your order number
    2. Item(s) you would like to return
    3. Reason for your return (e.g. does not match picture; changed my mind; etc)
    4. A picture of the item(s) you'd like to return, to ensure they are eligible for a return (see below)
  2. Upon receiving your email, we will then contact you to schedule a pickup (this can take 1-2 business days)
  3. Once we pick-up your item, we will process your return and refund your purchase on your original payment method (see below)

For exchanges:

  1. Email us at hello@plntd.ae, stating:
    1. Your order number
    2. Item(s) you would like to exchange
    3. What you'd like to exchange them to
    4. A picture of your item(s), to ensure it is eligible for an exchange return (see below)
  2. Upon receiving your email, we will then contact you to schedule a pickup & exchange (this can take 1-2 business days)
  3. Once we pick-up your item, we will deliver the new ones at the same time.

Notes for exchanges:

If the new item(s) exceed the value of the return items, we will send you an invoice prior to delivery to confirm payment of that extra amount.

If the new item(s) are below the value of the return items, we will refund the difference on your original payment method (see below).

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, we ask only for a few things:

  1. That your plants are still in their nursery pot (or original pot they were sent in).
  2. That no more than 14 days have passed.
  3. That the plants haven't been modified in any way (e.g. pruned, cut, repotted, damaged, etc).
  4. That the plants have not been damaged.
  5. That the plants have not been placed outdoors, unless advised to do so by a member of Plntd's team.
  6. That the plants be returned in their original packaging and their original materials included.

Please note:

Each plant/order is eligible for just one exchange request within the 14-day guarantee window. Plntd also reserves the right to reject any return/exchange requests.

Some flowering plants (for example Calla Lilies) are not evergreen plants and WILL completely wilt overtime (as do cut flowers). As a result, the return window for these plants are 24 hours after receiving your plant. For further details, please read the "Our Quality Guarantee" section within the product page of the plant you are considering, or, if in doubt, please reach out to a member of our team.

Exclusions

  • Shipping/delivery charges & fees.
  • Refund and Exchanges do not apply on any promotional, customized/personalized, or gifted items (for example, free/gifted plants).
  • Made to order items (such as Rupert/Klekktic and Naskh planters) cannot be refunded / exchanged. Replacements are eligible in case of damages (e.g. during delivery) and must be communicated with the team within 24 hours of delivery (e.g. by sending an email or WhatsApp message).
  • Gift wrapping is also non-refundable.
  • Any item(s) picked up/collected in store. All retail purchases are final.
  • For consumable items (For example, Sowvital products), products must be unused, and packaging unopened/undamaged.

Refunds

Once we pick-up/receive your order, and confirm it is eligible for a refund, we will automatically refund your purchase on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Plntd reserves the right to decline any refund/exchange requests.

Refund charges

For returns/exchanges due to mistakes/damages on the part of Plntd and its delivery partners providers (for example, the plant arrived damaged, or the height was not as per the website description), no return/exchange charge will be imposed.

For all other returns (e.g. customer changes his/her mind), returns will have a restocking fee (23 AED) that will be deducted from the amount to refund. Plntd has the right (but not obligation) to waive this fee.

All plants have a natural variation of +/- 10% in height. Refund requests based on height discrepancies within that range will be accepted (subject to all other conditions), and will be subject to a restocking fee.

Plntd reserves the final right to impose or waive the return fee.

Shipping charges may also apply for returns of overweight items.

Cancellations

Once your order has been placed, any cancellation will be subject to a restocking fee.

If your order is still being prepared (i.e. not yet shipped), you may still add/remove products. However, if your order has been fulfilled, then we are unable to make changes to your order. You may either:

  1. Place a new order
  2. Cancel the order, subject to a restocking fee (see above)
  3. Receive the order without any changes

Exclusions:

  • Any promotional, customized/personalized, or gifted items.
  • Made to order items (such as Rupert/Klekktic and Naskh planters)
  • Shipping, delivery, or fulfillment fees

Damages/Issues

If you think your plant arrived damaged or unhealthy, please include a photograph of it when you contact us. We may ask some questions to understand how you've been looking after it, and suggest some fixes that will help you get your plant back to full health and take pleasure in reviving it. If we can't fix the problem, no worries, we will provide a replacement or refund.
